Faith”¦in Christ
A man named Habakkuk (an Old Testament prophet) and Paul (a follower of Christ in the New Testament) wrote and taught: “The righteous will live by his faith.” (See Habakkuk 2:4; Romans 1:17)
The faith of a Christian is to be in Christ alone. Our faith is to be in what He has done on the cross and that He has come to life from the grave of death. Christ Jesus”™ power has been exhibited and is being exhibited in the lives of all who live by faith in Him.
What is imperative for Jesus”™ power to be evident in the lives of His followers?
Believing faith in Him!!!
(NASB) John 14:12 “”˜Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father.”™”
For the power of Jesus to be evident in and through His followers lives, our faith must be in Him”¦our faith must be in all of His words and teachings”¦not just what I, or others, pick and choose. We need to be careful to “˜listen”™ and obey the full teachings of Christ, not just what we choose because it is more “˜comfortable”™ or easily accepted in the world.
How are you living your life? Faith in Christ is imperative!
“˜The righteous will live by his faith.”™
Jesus”™ power is expanded in His followers because He sends His Holy Spirit to live in them. (See Mark 16:19-20 ““ for Jesus”™ ascension into heaven. See Acts 2:1-4 ““ for the sending of His Holy Spirit.)
What is your response to this wondrous act of Jesus for you?
Your prayers, and mine, will be answered
because of our faith in Him.
“˜The righteous will live by his faith.”™
