As Scripture relates the life of Jesus Christ, He never seems to be in a hurry”¦yet He keeps on moving into different people”™s lives and fulfilling God”™s will for Him.

He takes the time to sit down and teach.

Jesus Christ is the same today as He was when He walked the paths and roads of Galilee and Judea. He is the same today as He will be when He comes to reign as King.

Jesus taught with authority and He teaches with authority today. His words can be trusted for they are unchanging, as He is unchanging.

What is significant about reading God”™s words through devotionals, through the Holy Bible, hearing Biblically based sermons, singing hymns and songs of praise based on God”™s word?

When we go to Jesus ““ He sees us coming ““ He sits down and waits for us to join Him, then He begins to teach us”¦

When we intentionally go to Jesus ““ we are making ourselves available to Him, and then we are teachable and open to His truths.

(NASB) Matthew 5:1-2 “WHEN JESUS saw the crowds, He went up on the mountain; and after He sat down, His disciples came to Him.

2 He opened His mouth and began to teach them”¦”

When was the last time you intentionally made yourself available to be taught by the Lord Jesus? You may not “˜feel”™ like taking time to read God”™s word”¦ask Him for that desire. You will be blessed.

(NASB) Matthew 7:28-29 “When Jesus had finished these words, the crowds were amazed at His teaching;

29 for He was teaching them as one having authority, and not as their scribes.”

Jesus always teaches with authority, because He has the authority.

Are we in awe and amazed that Jesus wants to teach us? Shouldn”™t we be? Think about this”¦the Creator of the stars and galaxies, the Creator of the tiniest particles, the Creator of the depths of the oceans, the Creator of the fantastic human body”¦He wants to sit down and teach us.

Have you made yourself available to the Teacher?
