One of the many promises of God to His children is found in

(NASB) Psalm 32:8-11 “I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you.”

What a promise! God Himself will instruct you and me and teach us the way we should go. He will counsel us and watch over us ““ His eye is upon us.

When we take children to a park or an area where there could be any kind of threat to the children, we keep an eye on them”¦without “˜smothering”™ them. We allow them freedom, yet are watchful for their welfare.

God also watches over us as we follow His words. To listen to Jesus and to His authoritative teachings and messages is to be wise and under His protection.

Are you listening?

And God says, “˜Can you hear Me now?”™

One of the many warnings of God to His children:

(NASB) Psalm 32:9 “Do not be as the horse or as the mule which have no understanding, Whose trappings include bit and bridle to hold them in check, Otherwise they will not come near to you.”

Be warned! Are you stubborn and not listening to what God has to say?

Another of God”™s promises to you and me:

(NASB) Psalm 32:10 “Many are the sorrows of the wicked,

But he who trusts in the Lord, lovingkindness shall surround him.”

God”™s unfailing love and mercy surround His children; His children are those who trust in Him! Do you trust in Him?

The response of those who are in right standing before God:

(NASB) Psalm 32:11 “Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, you righteous ones; And shout for joy, all you who are upright in heart.”

Are you rejoicing and shouting for joy?

We are told to “Be glad in the Lord and rejoice”¦”
