(NASB) Hebrews 13:15-16 “Through Him then, let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that give thanks to His name.
16 And do not neglect doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.”

Sacrifices which please the living God:

Sacrifice of praise

Sacrifice of thanksgiving

Sacrifice of doing good

Sacrifice of sharing

A sacrifice is not dependent on my circumstances or on how others treat me.  A sacrifice is “To forfeit (something of value) for something considered to have a greater value or claim.”

Pleasing the living God of the Holy Bible should not be superficial or what looks good on the surface.

Sacrifices pleasing to God, according to God’s own word, are the sacrifices of praise, thanksgiving, doing good and sharing.

~ Take it to heart ~

I am to continually praise the Lord God of the Holy Bible.  I am to give the sacrifice of praise to my God for He is of greater worth and value than my circumstances or feelings.

(NASB) Psalm 117:1-2 “Praise the Lord, all nations;
Laud Him, all peoples!
2 For His lovingkindness is great toward us,
And the truth of the Lord is everlasting.
Praise the Lord!”
