Hezekiah was 25 years old when he began his reign in Judah. He was a godly king. In fact, he removed the places where people worshiped idols. He broke down idols poles and cut down Asherah. 2 Kings 18:1, 2, 4
Hezekiah worshiped the LORD God, he trusted his God. He was one of the most godly kings in Judah, ever. 2 Kings 18:5
Would people remember that you worship the living God, that you trust your God. Would they say you are one of the most godly people they know?
God’s word says about Hezekiah, he clung to God. In the days we are living in, do you cling to God? Is your faith in Him in these days of inflation, even in the hate filled words which are said?
2 Kings 18:6
The good news? “And the LORD was with him (Hezekiah); wherever he went he prospered. 2 Kings 18:7a
Do you know that God is with you, wherever you go? Do you know that any prosperity you have comes from God’s bounty to you?
We need to be thankful to our God and His truths.

Psalm 37:28
“For the LORD loves justice
And does not forsake His godly ones;
They are preserved forever,
But the descendants of the wicked will be cut off.”
Being godly is to Practice God’s truth-filled words.
