Give Respect and Prayerful Attention to God’s Leaders

The Israelites respected Moses.  When Moses would go to the Tent of Meeting to meet with the LORD God, the people would come to the door of their tents and stand until Moses passed by.  Exodus 33:7-8

  When Moses entered the Tent, the pillar of cloud would descend and stand at the entrance of the Tent; and the LORD would speak with Moses.  Exodus 33:9

  The LORD would speak with Moses, face to face.  What an honor! 
  When you and I are speaking with God, we need to come consciously into God’s presence and read from His word, pray from His word and know His word.  We need to listen to our God.

  We need to pray for our nation and its leaders; pray for our “bosses” at work, pray for our churches and the Pastoral staff; pray for our families.

“Let your gentle spirit be known to all men.  
The Lord is near.
6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything 
by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving
let your requests be made known to God.”
