The following prayer is a paraphrase of Psalm 89:14:
God of the Bible, whose words are truth, whose throne is forever, to You I pray.

Your word says that the foundation of Your throne is righteousness and justice.  What a glorious day that will be, when You rule the world from Your throne.  Today we live in a world which is out of control.  We live in a world where You are not honored or worshiped.

  Your reputation goes before You.  Your reputation is one of lovingkindness and truth.
Help me, today, live on the truth of Your word. 
  I can believe and base my life on Your righteousness and Your justice.  I can base my thoughts and actions on Your lovingkindness and Your truth.  Thank You!
  In the name of Jesus, I pray, Amen.
