Psalm 91:1-2  Prayer paraphrased

  Lord, You are the God of the Holy Bible.  You are the Most High God.  The person who lives in the shelter of You, the Most High, will live in the shadow of the Almighty God.

  Lord, I pray that all who read this prayer will come to know You as the Almighty God, to turn to You in times of danger, fear, chaos, anxiety, and in times of peace and comfort.

  Help each of us to say, ‘My refuge and my fortress,  My God in whom I trust.’  Help me to know that You are my refuge when I am in distress of any kind.  You are my fortress against my enemies.  You are my Almighty God.

  Lord, I put my trust in You for my circumstances – this day!
  In the name of Jesus,  Amen!
