Being Teachable

Being teachable… sounds easy!  It is not!  Many times it is a hard way to learn.
  Have you prayed to be teachable?  I have.  And the way the answer is given sometimes hurts my ego.

Psalm 51:10 
“Create in me a clean heart, O God,
And renew a steadfast spirit within me.”…

  After David sinned, he penned these words of humility.  Can I say the same thing when I am humiliated publicly?  Sometimes the Lord uses people who do not know Him to teach me truths I need to hear.  

  Being teachable is to learn God’s ways for His glory.

Psalm 37:5
“Commit your way to the LORD
Trust also in Him, and He will do it.”

Being teachable:
Commitment ~ to the LORD!
Trust ~ in the LORD!
For the glory ~ of the LORD!
