It is April 1, April Fool’s day.
When God answers prayer, it is NO joke! God does not answer prayer to say ‘I fooled you!’
Beautiful Rebekah ran home and told all that had just happened at the well of water.
Her brother, Laban, heard her story, saw the gold jewelry she was wearing and hurried off to the well himself. Laban was really hospitable to the servant of a rich man, and that rich man was a close relative. Laban tended the camels himself, giving them straw and feed; he also provided water for the feet of all who were in the entourage. Genesis 24: 28-31
The servant refused to eat until he told why he was there.
A servant with a servant’s heart to do his master’s bidding, will be about his Master’s business.
Shouldn’t we be about our Master Jesus’ business, every day? To serve Him with a servant’s heart?!!!
The servant told of his master and his wife, Abraham and Sarah, and that Isaac was born in their old age.
The servant told about his mission which had been entrusted to him by Abraham.
The servant told of his prayer and God’s answer! He also said, if Rebekah did not want to come with him, that would release him from his oath to his master. Genesis 24:33-41
Abraham’s faith was in God,
not in his servant, to find a wife for Isaac.
God’s Word ~ Alive!
Habakkuk 2:4
“… But the righteous will live by his faith.”
Are you living by faith in God’s leading you?
