Genesis 6:1-22

In the days of Noah, people ate and drank and lived their lives without giving the living, Creator God much thought.

In the days of your name, people are eating, drinking and living their lives without giving the living, Creator God much thought.

But Noah was a righteous man, living his life by faith in the living God.  He walked by faith in God.  In Noah’s time, God’s word says that Noah was without blame, why?  Because Noah walked with God.

Today – faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is the beginning of living a righteous life, a life without blame.  Are we, Follower of Christ, without sin?  No, we are not.  Living by faith in our Savior is walking the road of righteousness and without blame.

Romans 3:23
Habakkuk 2:4 “Behold, as the proud ones,
His soul (mind, emotion, & will) is not right within him.”

After we know Christ as our Savior:
“But the righteous will live by his faith.”

Noah was known as a righteous man, a man without blame in the sight of God.  Why?  Because he lived by his faith in God.

When we live by faith today, we are not going to think or say, or act like those who do not believe in God.  Noah couldn’t have thought, talked, or acted like those in his generation.  Why? Because Noah walked with God.   Noah chose the harder road, not the road of least resistance.

Don’t be living a cookie cutter life of those around you.

Do live by faith in God, we are to let God make us more like His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

God’s Word ~ Alive!

Romans 1:16-17
For I am not ashamed of the gospel,
for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes,
to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
For in it the righteousness of God
is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written,
‘But the righteous man shall live by faith.”
