Genesis 2:1-25
Have you thought about the Garden of Eden? Did God create it? It is interesting that the Holy Bible says “The LORD God planted a garden … and there He placed the man whom He had formed.” Genesis 2:8
When God formed man He gave the man freedom to choose to obey God’s words to him, or not.
God told the man that he could eat from any of the fruit of the trees in the garden. But warned him about the tree in the middle of the garden, “the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.” The “day that you eat from it you will surely die.” Genesis 2:9, 16-17
God also made “the tree of life” and had it growing in the same garden. Remember: God said that “From any tree of the garden you may eat freely.” Genesis 2:16
The man was free to choose “the tree of life” or “the tree of knowledge of good and evil.”
Today, you also have the freedom to choose “life” or “good and evil”.
When anyone chooses “life” they are given eternal life through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior.
