1 Chronicles 29:21
The next day – how many “next days” do you continue to worship the living God?
The people of Israel, the next day, made great sacrifices to the LORD, offering burnt offerings to the LORD.

  The amount sacrificed!
          1,000 bulls
          1,000 rams
          1,000 lambs
and each offering included “drink offerings and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel.” 1 Chronicles 29:21
The people ate and drank that day before the LORD with great gladness.

Joy and gladness should be part of our worship!

When you give your sacrificial offerings do you do so “with great gladness”?

David must have been pleased because the people of Israel “made Solomon the son of David king a second time, they anointed Solomon as ruler for the LORD and (anointed) Zadok as priest.”
1 Chronicles 29:22
The power of being a king was transferred smoothly and Solomon sat on the throne as king in place of his father, David.
Then the importance of the backing of the leaders of Israel, they pledged allegiance to King Solomon.  1 Chronicles 29:24
The LORD highly exalted Solomon in the sight of all Israel.  They bestowed on Solomon royal majesty which had not been on any king before him in Israel.

Consider this  ~

Smooth transition of power is dependent on backing and unity.
It is also dependent on the LORD’S power and blessing.
