Encouraging others

1 Chronicles 29:20
  David encouraged the people of Israel to give generously to add to the stockpiles of materials to build the temple, the house of God.  After the generous offering, David prayed to the LORD God of Israel. 
1 Chronicles 29:10-19

  Then David said to the assembled people, “Now bless the LORD your God.” 1 Chronicles 29:20

  How did the crowd react?  They blessed the LORD, the God of their fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob-Israel.  They did homage to the LORD and to the king.
