Advice from experience
1 Chronicles 28:20-21
David said to his son, Solomon, the next king of Israel, “Be strong and courageous, and act; do not fear nor be dismayed, for the LORD God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you until all the work for the service of the house of the LORD is finished.” 1 Chronicles 28:20
Confidence in the LORD, because David found God faithful throughout his life.
Will you be able to pass on such a legacy to your family and friends?
David continued to assure Solomon that the priests and the Levites were ready to do their part in serving in the future temple. And, in addition, skillful workers were ready to do all the work required in building the temple.
Then, to top it off, this prestigious list includes all the people and officials who would be at Solomon’s command. Solomon would be in charge. Period!
