1 Chronicles 27:1-34
David, during his reign, organized each tribe by naming their officers, and the 12 tribes would rotate duties for 12 months.  Rotation of doing the work is listed.
Those who “tilled the soil”, agriculture workers were important people on the list.

Occupations are to serve the LORD.  No matter what God calls you to do… your job is to serve the LORD, follower of Christ.
Those who had charge of the vineyards and wine cellars were also important people.
Those who had charge of cattle, camels and donkeys – all those men were important.

No matter your work – you are important.  Your job is important, no matter what that job is – it is always important to honor the LORD in our work.

Even the tutors for the king’s sons; counselor and friends to the king were important.

This is why even today, we need to pray for the counselors to the presidents and all those in government at the national level, the state level, and the local level.  These men and women are important!

Consider this  ~

Important people in a nation
include people from all walks of life
and various jobs.

Your job is important because you are important.
