Thanksgiving and Praise should have a cause
1 Chronicles 25:1-31
Generations were assigned to praising and giving thanksgiving to God. 1 Chronicles 25:3
For those who can sing – are you praising and thanking the LORD through song?
For what are you thankful?
For what do you praise God?
Follower of Christ: we have much for which to be thankful.
The first advent of Jesus:
Jesus Christ’s birth, His life, His words, His death, His resurrection, His love, His sacrifice taking our place on the cross as a judgment on our sins. Have you praised and thanked Him for fulfilling prophecy?
Have you thanked Him for coming as Savior?
The second advent of Christ
Has not yet occurred. He will come to earth as King of kings.
Are you taking notice of Jesus’ working in your life? Are you being transformed from thinking the way the world thinks?
Hopefully you are.
Prayerfully consider God’s word in Romans 12:2 “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind so that you may prove what the will of God is that which is good and acceptable and perfect.”
