Sunday Prayer

Jesus said, “For where two or three have gathered together in my name, I am there in their midst.”  Matthew 18:20 NASB

Shall we pray…
  1 Peter 1:13 paraphrased

  LORD God, You are holy.  You are ever mindful of my needs.
  I need to prepare my mind for action – because You say so.
  I need to keep sober in spirit – because You say so.

  You also tell me that I am to “fix my hope completely on the grace” – [God’s grace: You give me what I do not deserve]

  You reveal Your Son through Your word.  Your word is truth.  You do not lie, indeed it is impossible for You to lie.  Hebrews 6:18

  And You continue to reveal my Savior – who He is!  what He does!  Thank You.
