1 Chronicles 21:16-27
Prayer – intentional prayer from a man whose heart put God first in his life.
Who was that man?  King David.

Prayer – openly and honestly spoken in God’s presence.
David had faith that God heard his prayer.  Do you have that kind of faith?

David never doubted that he was in the presence of God, nor doubted that God heard his prayers.  Do you have that kind of faith?

When you pray – do you actually and intentionally put God first, in your thoughts and words?
When you pray – do you actually and intentionally believe that your words are heard by God?
When you pray – do you recognize who you are in comparison to God?
When you pray – do you recognize God’s grace and mercy to you?

God’s grace – gives you what you do not deserve.
God’s mercy – does not give you what you do deserve.

When you pray – do you recognize what God did for you when Christ died on the cross for your sins?
When you pray – do you recognize Christ rose from the grave, the tomb, conquering sin, (your sins), death and Satan?
When you pray – do you recognize God’s grace for you?  God’s mercy to you?

Consider this  ~

When you pray do you actually and intentionally
believe you are in God’s presence and
believe that He hears you?
