1 Chronicles 20:2-8
Conquests utterly defeat the enemies.  And David’s army did just that!
Conquests involve war and killing.  Conquests defeat enemies which may be stronger and/or unusual.
David’s army conquered descendants of giants.

What giant needs to be conquered in your life?
What enemy of yours needs to be utterly defeated in your life?

Sin, of any kind, is a great and strong enemy!  I am learning that I do not have the strength or the will power to defeat my enemy of sin on my own.
I am thankful that I am under God’s grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

In Christ, I am under God’s grace.
Without Christ, anyone is under the master of sin.

Romans 6:12-14  “Therefore do not let sin reign in our mortal body so that you obey its lusts,
13 and do not go on presenting the members of your body to sin as instruments of unrighteousness; but present yourselves to God as those alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.
14 For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under law but under grace.”

In Christ Jesus, follower of Christ, we are more than conquerors over sin through faith in Jesus.
Romans 8:37-39  “But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us.
38 for I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,
39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Consider this  ~

Jesus loves you!
Romans 8:37
“But in all these things we
overwhelmingly conquer
through Him who loved us.”
