1 Chronicles 18:14-17
  King David reigned over all of Israel.  He did many wise things to bring his country together.
  David chose leaders for various positions in his government.
  David was known for administering justice and righteousness “for all his people.”
1 Chronicles 18:14

  David chose Joab over his army.
  David chose Jehoshaphat as recorder.
  David chose Zadok as priest.
  David chose Shavsha as secretary (possibly to the priests).
  David chose Benaiah over two people groups.
  David chose his sons as chiefs at his side.

  Were all of David’s choices wise?
  Probably not – but then the individuals chosen were responsible for their own actions and choices later in Israel’s history.

Consider this  ~

We each need to take responsibility for what our God gives us.
We are accountable to our God and to all those with whom we work.

I pray each one reading this devotional will have a blessed day,
we celebrated Christmas two days ago.
Are we still celebrating the birth of Christ?
