Being… Thankful; Giving… Praise
1 Chronicles 16:4-7
David appointed some of the Levites as ministers before the ark of the LORD, to celebrate with thanksgiving and praise to the LORD God of Israel.
Asaph was the chief, then other men are named along with the musical instruments used in worship.
Asaph wrote some of the Psalms we can read today in the Old Testament.
These men were appointed, assigned to give thanks and praise to the LORD.
How we celebrate with thanksgiving and praise to the LORD God is important.
Our voices raised in praise, instruments playing in thanksgiving and praise to the LORD God.
When we worship, do we expect to “feel” like it? Or do we do it for the praise and honor of our God?
Emotions, physical well-being, financial woes, our circumstances all are to be put aside and our focus should be on our God. As we are

Consider this ~
We can praise our God – today, even though it is not Sunday.
Even though we don’t “feel” like it.
Each day – make it a day of thanksgiving to our God for His many blessings.
