1 Chronicles 11:4-9
  David and all Israel went to Jebus – a city on a high hill, held by their enemies.  David captured that “stronghold of Zion”
5 After the inhabitants said, ‘You shall not enter here.’”  David did anyway.

  David made that city, his city, the city of David.  Another name for that city is Zion.

  David had many decisive victories and he gave the glory and praise to his God.

  When there is a decisive victory in your life, do you praise God and give Him the glory?

  In fact when followers of Christ have victories in life shouldn’t we pray Psalm 100?

Psalm 100:1-5
“Shout joyfully to the LORD, all the earth.
2 Serve the LORD with gladness;
Come before Him with joyful singing.
3 Know that the LORD Himself is God,
It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;
We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
4 Enter His gates with thanksgiving
And His courts with praise.
Give thanks to Him, bless His name.
5 For the LORD is good
His lovingkindness is everlasting.
And His faithfulness to all generations.”

Consider this  ~

What decisive victories have you had?
Give the LORD God the praise
and glory for decisive victories
in your life.
