1 Chronicles 10:1-14
Saul and his three sons died.  His sons died in a battle.  Saul was wounded by an enemy arrow in that same battle.  Saul did not want to be captured by his enemies.  He asked his armor bearer to kill him with Saul’s sword.  The armor bearer refused.  So Saul took his own sword and fell on it, killing himself.

The house of Saul, the dynasty of Saul was done.  Why?  1 Chronicles 10:13 Saul died for his trespass, a sin against the Lord – Saul willfully did not keep, was unfaithful, to do the Lord’s will, way and word.

Saul also looked for a “medium” during his reign; he did not turn to the Lord for advice or help.  1 Samuel 28:25
The LORD gave Saul years to repent and turn to the LORD, he never did repent.

Mediums are active today.  They “call up” people who have died.  Is this from the LORD?
No, the LORD says, don’t do that!  Turn to Me for the answers to your questions, turn to Me for comfort and not run to your dead loved ones.
  Mediums are not from God.

A mediums knowledge – where does it come from?  Not from God.  God does not work that way.  Satan uses mediums to separate you from God.

Leviticus 19:31 “Do not turn to mediums or spiritists; do not seek them out to be defiled by them.  I am the LORD.”

Isaiah 8:19 “When they say to you, ‘Consult the mediums and the spiritists who whisper and mutter,’ should not a people consult their God?  Should they consult the dead on behalf of the living?”

Consider this ~

When you are lonely, when you are frustrated and want answers now –
turn to the living God,
do not turn to a dead person for answers,
then watch and wait for His answers for your needs.
