1 Chronicles 7:30-40
  The sons of Asher are listed – several generations as a matter of fact in the genealogical record.

  What is the summation of these men and women who are listed?
  It is unusual to have women listed in this kind of record.  Women are important to the Lord.

  In verse 40, the names of the heads of the father’s houses are given.
  These men were known for their valor (bravery) they were “mighty men of valor”.  They were good at claiming their responsibilities and were known for their bravery.

  Men, are you good at claiming your responsibilities and known for your bravery?

  These men of the tribe of Asher were leaders among leaders.  They were also enrolled in the armed forces for  serving their country and their families.
