Issachar is one of the 12 tribes of Israel.  Their genealogical lineage speaks of the men, family after family, as “mighty men of valor.”
1 Chronicles 7:2, 7, 9, 11
And one family was “ready to go out with the army to war.”
1 Chronicles 7:11

Impressive! Ready to get in the trenches to fight.  They had enemies which needed to be routed.  And so do we as believers in Christ Jesus.

Apathetic attitudes won’t cut it!  Don’t let the enemy run roughshod over God’s people.  These are a sure sign of sure defeat and succumbing to an enemy.

What about today?  – are you a mighty man or woman of valor?  Are you ready to take the message of the gospel to your neighbor?, your friends?, your family?

Get in the trenches – we need to work and be willing to do the work ourselves… be involved with our church and our neighborhood.

Be faithful in whatever God calls us to do – every day.

Consider this  ~
Valor means bravery –
It takes bravery to face the world’s culture, which is opposed to God’s ways.

Ephesians 6:11
“Put on the full armor of God,
so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.”
Are you a man or woman of godly valor?
