1 Chronicles 6:4
Aaron’s third son, Eleazar, became the father of Phinehas and Phinehas became the father of Abishua.

  When Aaron died, his office of high priest went to his third son (the first two sons died some years before).  Numbers 3:3-4; Numbers 20:25-29

  God has people ready to go, ready to fill what has been vacated.  Sometimes people move on, other times people die and those vacancies need to be filled.  God used Eleazar for many years in the wilderness before the children of Jacob-Israel entered the Promised Land.  Numbers 26:63

  Did Eleazar enter the Promised land?  It would seem he did according to
Joshua 17:4.  As the Promised Land was conquered we find Eleazar’s name along with Joshua making important decisions concerning dividing the land up as an inheritance.

   God uses His chosen ones to do His ways and will for as long as God chooses.  He is sovereign.

Get ready by studying God’s word.
Get ready by prayer and relying on God alone.
Get ready to obey God!
