Sunday Prayer

Jesus said, “For where two or three have gathered together in my name, I am there in their midst.”  Matthew 18:20 NASB

Shall we pray…
Romans 12:1-2 paraphrased

  Because You are merciful, O God, I come to You in prayer.  I come to You to present my body as a living sacrifice – to do things, say things which are pleasing to You.  When I turn to You, You set me apart, making me holy.  This is true worship of You.

  I come to You not to be conformed any longer to this world, I come to be transformed in my thinking, in my mind.  I want to know, to discern what is good, pleasing and what Your perfect will is for me, O Lord.
