Genealogies can be boring!  BUT if you know something about the people who are in those genealogies ~ they were real people ~ people who really lived ~ they become living history!  So many times we don’t know their personalities, only their names.  1 Chronicles 1:1-42

  If you are “into” genealogies – you find it fascinating to find out the names of your ancestors.
  Most ancestors appear one-dimensional, we don’t know who they are ~ only that they are in in our family tree ~ unless you have had stories passed down from generation to generation – or they were somehow famous.
