Jude warned of ungodly people in the fellowship of believers.  Remember to “contend for the faith which was once for all handed down to the saints.” 

  We are to be aware of those who would turn our faith from the Lord Jesus Christ, to deny His deity ~ being fully God.  Also to deny His being fully Man – Son of God.

  Many times ungodly people will be rejecting the authority of God, defiling the flesh and reviling God’s words of truth.  Jude 1:8

  Be aware of being a grumbler!  Always finding fault.  Following after what you want, rather than what God wants for you.  Arrogance is another mark of being ungodly.  Flattery to gain an advantage is also another mark of being ungodly.  Jude 1:16

~ Take it to heart ~

Either we are focused on God and His ways
or we are focused on ourselves.
Are you walking in the steps of the ungodly?
OR
Are you choosing to be godly in your thinking, your words and actions?
