Sunday Prayer

Jesus said, “For where two or three have gathered together in my name, I am there in their midst.”  Matthew 18:20 NASB

Shall we pray…
Matthew 6:9-13 paraphrased

  Our Father, who lives in heaven,
Hallowed is Your name.  Help me to never forget Your name is Holy!

Your kingdom come, in my life and in the life of my nation.
May Your will be done in my life, help me to be in agreement with You and Your will for me.
Your will be done on earth as Your will is done in heaven.

Give me, today, what I need.

And forgive me my debts of sin, as I also forgive those who have debts of sin against me.
And do not lead me into temptation, but deliver me from evil.  Help me to remember to turn to You, to run to You when I am tempted.

You, O Lord God, is the kingdom, and because Jesus is my Savior I have a part in Your kingdom, thank You.
You have all power.  May Your power help me today.
And You also have all glory forever and ever. Amen.
