Acts 1:7-8 (Paraphrased)
Lord my God, Jesus told His disciples that God the Father is in charge of the times, You have fixed all Your perfect timing by Your own authority.
The Lord Jesus also told His disciples, before He ascended into heaven, that they would receive power when the Holy Spirit was given. They were then to witness in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, even to the remotest part of the earth.
I am so thankful for their witness, because of their faithfulness to carry out Jesus’ words, I am a believer and I am going to heaven when I die.
Help me to also be a witness of the living Jesus, today. Help me to faithfully to be open to being teachable and growing in my faith each and every day.
