Encouragement in a time of Discouragement

Haggai was a prophet who encouraged a dejected, discouraged remnant who returned to Jerusalem after the exile of 70 years.

  Who do you know is an encourager?  Have you ever thought to give them an encouraging word from time to time?

  Do you smile at the clerk checking you out at the grocery store?  They may be encouraged by your smile – after all, they are standing on their feet hours at a time.

  When was the last time you sent an email, note, or text to another to give them encouragement?
