Habakkuk 3:16-19; 2:4 paraphrased
When life becomes frightening or filled with worry, when fears seem in control.
I have a choice to make, do I choose to trust God in the face of my fears?
Yes, I will. Though my world seems to be falling apart,
Money is not going as far in buying necessities,
Though my resources seem to be dwindling.
Yet, YET, I will exult in God.
I WILL rejoice in God my Savior.
For He is my real strength, not my finances, or my fears and worries or even my health.
It is the LORD God who is my strength!
He makes it so I can leap up the sides of difficulties in my life, because He gives me that ability. He makes it so I can walk on high places. I am to live by faith!
