The LORD God sent Jonah to Nineveh, Assyria and the people repented, even the king.
  One hundred years later, God sent another prophet, Nahum, to Nineveh to warn them of God’s just judgment.  They did not repent.  In 612 bc they were defeated by the next world power, Babylon.
  They did not know God.

Nahum 1:3
“The LORD is slow to anger and great in power,
And the LORD will by no means leave the guilty unpunished.
In whirlwind and storm is His way,
And clouds are dust beneath His feet.”

  How do you know who God is or His character?
  There is one way – read the Holy Bible – it reveals the living God.
                                 read the  four Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke & John – the life of Jesus. Christ reveals God to all who seek God.
  Do you want to know God?  Watch Jesus.

Think about this!

God’s words are true.
God’s promises are true & are always fulfilled.
God’s warnings are true and need to be heeded!
God’s word reveals ~ God!
