The Hebrew slaves left Egypt – led by God and God’s chosen leader, Moses.
God’s leading was unmistakable – a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night.

Every person could see the pillar – 24/7.  When the cloud would settle over the tabernacle (a special tent for worship of the living God), the people would stay in camp until it lifted, then they broke camp and followed.

Sometimes they could rest for many days, at other times they moved on the very next day.  God’s leading – is to follow Him!  The Lord had a destination in mind then for them and even now – for us.  Follow Him.

The book of Numbers ends with the people poised to enter the Promised Land.  It took 40 years for them to reach that place.

For you, God’s leading is best – He will get you to your destination.
So!  Do what God says to do – in the Holy Bible – that’s obedience.

~ Think about this! ~

Be ready to stay or to move on ~  as the Lord leads you.
