Trees
Trees need established roots to thrive.  When trees are planted in the middle of a yard or berm, deep root feeding is required for the roots to establish themselves and support the life of the tree.  A tree is a living organism that requires water to grow.  When the tree is planted near the water, the roots naturally take up the moisture and the water flows from the foundation of the tree up to the very top, bringing abundant life to the whole tree.  Sometimes, the water rushes by, just like high tide.  Other times, the water sits and waits for the roots to drink their fill, just like low tide.

When we fully trust in Christ we are blessed and we thrive.

(NIV) Jeremiah 17:7-8 “But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.
8He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream.”

It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”

~Take it to Heart~

Consider who you are in Christ. Consider the fact that God wants you to have a full blessed life.  One that is blessed by Him, our Creator.  Be that blessed one who trusts in the Lord.  Be like a tree planted by the living waters…no need to fear heat, or drought, for you will never fail to bear fruit…when you are rooted in the Lord Jesus Christ.
