What is the one thing followers of Christ can do, no matter where they are in the world?

Pray!  Our faith is dependent on the living God of the Bible.

  How can this unity of believers in prayer be applied today as the world is against Christians in many countries?

Pray!  Our prayer is to be based on our dependence and faith
 in the living God of the Bible.

  Consider the prayer the united believers prayed after Peter and John told of their experiences of arrest, imprisonment, and they were warned not to continue to preach in the name of Jesus.  (Acts 4:23-24)

  They acknowledged the Creator God:
(NASB) Acts 4:24 “…‘O Lord, it is You who made the heaven and the earth and the sea, and all that is in them,”

  Their prayer was one of dependence.  Their faith was in the living God.  They acknowledged that He, alone!, was the Creator.  He created the heaven, and the earth and the sea and all that they contain.  Think about the power of such a great God!

  There is no one greater than our God!  He is All-Powerful.  No other god has the ability to create matter from nothing!  Only the living God who revealed Himself in the Holy Bible has this kind of power.  Genesis 1

(NASB) Psalm 90:1-2 “LORD, YOU have been our dwelling place in all generations.
2 Before the mountains were born
Or You gave birth to the earth and the world,
Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God.”

(NASB) Psalm 19:1-3 “THE HEAVENS are telling of the glory of God;
And their expanse is declaring the work of His hands.
2 Day to day pours forth speech,
And night to night reveals knowledge.
3 There is no speech, nor are there words;
Their voice is not heard.”
