The Mount of Olives has much historical significance to the Jewish faith and history. The Mount of Olives has much historical significance to all Christendom.
The Mount of Olives…where Jesus’ physically will once again come… as His followers ~ He is our hope. He is the living hope in which we are to trustingly live this day.
He is coming again! Our faith is in the living, resurrected, ascended Lord Jesus Christ, follower of Christ.
The apostles were promised that Jesus would come back to that Mount of Olives from where He ascended into heaven. Acts 1:11

A promise was given to Jesus’ apostles and this is also a promise [of hope] to us!
(NASB) Acts 1:11 “…This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in just the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven.”
