Jesus gained in popularity and the religious leaders, the Pharisees, noted that fact.
Jesus made a decision, “He left Judea and went away again into Galilee.”
John 4:2

Jesus was not looking for a confrontation with the Pharisees, he avoided them by leaving the area and going North into Galilee.

Today, there is a lot of unrest in our cities, in our world.  Wouldn’t it be wise to not go out on the streets at night?  Wouldn’t it be wise to control our tongues?

NASB James 3:3-10 “Now if we put the bits into the horses’ mouths so that they will obey us, we direct their entire body as well.
4 Look at the ships also, though they are so great and are driven by strong winds, are still directed by a very small rudder wherever the inclination of the pilot desires.
5 So also the tongue is a small part of the body, and yet it boasts of great things.
See how great a forest is set aflame by such a small fire!”

Jesus is God the Son… He could have lambasted the Pharisees, but He did not… He used the gentleness of wisdom and left the area.

NASB James 3:13 “Who among you is wise and understanding?
Let him show by his good behavior his deeds in the gentleness of wisdom.”

~ Take it to heart ~
