I am a follower of Christ… a child of God.
I received Jesus Christ as my Savior through faith in His very name. I was given the right to become a child of God the Father – because of belief in the name of His Son, the Lord Jesus.
My faith is in Jesus and what He did for me on the cross… He took the punishment I deserve for my sins. I was born – as a child of God when I asked Jesus to be my Savior, and believed in His name. This is the message of hope. Faith in Jesus’ name – His name which reveals Who He is and what He did so many years ago in history.
His name “Jesus” means “He will save His people from their sins”. Jesus is Immanuel, “God with us”. Jesus, Immanuel is the message of hope which all followers of Christ have! Jesus – He saves us from our sins. Immanuel – God with us.
As the results of social distancing continue to repeatedly discourage us from keeping in touch with each other in a more personal way, we need to remember the message of hope we have in the very name of Jesus – He is STILL the One who saves anyone from their sins – He is STILL the Savior. He is STILL the only way to go to heaven.
Jesus said, “I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.” John 10:9
“I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.” John 14:6
To enter heaven, you must enter through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ – He is the message of hope for you. Immanuel. No matter where you go, follower of Christ, Jesus is Immanuel… God with you!
Jesus, Immanuel – the message of hope anyone can plug into.
Jesus = He saves people from their sins. Matthew 1:21
Immanuel = God with us. Matthew 1:23

NASB John 1:12-13 “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name.,
13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.”

Praise Jesus! He is God! He is Savior! He is with us – followers of Christ.
Come, let us rely on Him as the living God Who is with us!
