Dr. Luke wrote a monumental work, his Gospel, on the conception, birth, life, death, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ ~ Messiah! 
Then he followed it up with a 2nd monumental work of Christ’s Spirit working in the lives of His followers.  The book of Acts.

Followers of Christ – Jesus is worthy to be followed, worshiped because He is God!  Because He is the Son of God.  Luke 1:35

Follower of Christ ~ our faith is based on facts! – not a dream or a hopeful hope – but on solid, evidence verified by actual living people.  Dr. Luke interviewed the original people who were intimately connected with the story of Jesus, they were eyewitnesses!  Luke 1:1-2

Follower of Christ ~ you, also, are a part of the on-going story of Jesus.  The story of Jesus and His amazing life and love are being written in our hearts, every day.  Your faith is based on facts.  Is your faith growing?  Every day?  When you read God’s word – it is His letter to you!  From His heart to you.  He loves you.  Never ever forget that when the mud and manure of this world splatters against you. 

Dr. Luke’s works were written “so that you may know the exact truth about the things you have been taught.”  Luke 1:4
