Freed (from) & Freed (to) Part Two – Freed (to)
Yesterday we considered the benefits of God and the Freedom (from) our iniquities, diseases, and hell… God blesses us by freeing us from these!
Today we are focusing on the benefits of God and the Freedom (to) which the LORD God has blessed us, follower of Christ.
NASB Psalm 103:2, 4b-5
2“Bless the LORD, O my soul,
And forget none of His benefits”
4 “… Who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion;
5 Who satisfies your years with good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the eagle.”
Crowned with the Lovingkindness of God ~
The LORD crowns you, follower of Christ, with His lovingkindness – you are Freed (to) know that God says, ‘I love you!’
4 “But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,
5 even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ
(by grace you have been saved)…”
NASB Ephesians 2:4-5
Crowned with the Compassion of God ~
He crowns you, follower of Christ, with His compassion –you are Freed (to) experience God’s active compassion for you.
22 The LORD’S lovingkindnesses indeed never cease,
For His compassions never fail.
23 They are new every morning;
Great is Your faithfulness.”
NASB Lamentations 3:22-23
God gives the Freedom to Soar ~
He satisfies your years with good things – you are Freed (to) know joy with a grateful and thankful heart attitude.
He gives you Freedom (to) soar and to run
~ Take it to heart ~
NASB Isaiah 40:31 “Yet those who wait for the LORD
Will gain new strength;
They will mount up with wings like eagles,
they will run and not get tired,
they will walk and not become weary.”
