Promises are made to be broken.  Do you agree with that statement?  I don’t!
But this is not so with God the Father, God the Son (Jesus) and God the Holy Spirit – three Persons, YET, One God.

The word of God “… must be fulfilled.”  All of God’s words – fulfilled!
Every prophecy concerning the Lord Jesus Christ’s first advent was fulfilled.  He came from heaven when He was conceived of a virgin (her name was Mary –
Luke 1:26-35).  Then He lived in the nation of Israel, died outside the gates of Jerusalem and was resurrected from the grave, He ascended back into heaven… in His resurrected, physical body.

After Jesus was risen from death, He appeared to His followers, He spoke to them,  they saw Him with their eyes.  He invited them to touch the nail holes in His hands and feet.  He ate food in their presence.  Luke 24:36-43

Now He said to them, ‘These are My words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things which are written about Me in the Law of Moses (the Pentateuch) and all the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled.”
NASB Luke 24:44; Revelation 19:11, 16 (underlining added)

Do you believe the words of the risen Lord Jesus stated?  Then continue to follow Him ~ no matter your circumstances or feelings.  Do not forget, His word is still being fulfilled!

Jesus ascended into heaven. God promises us that Jesus will return as King of all kings and as the Judge of all the earth.  This also “… must be fulfilled!”

~ Take it to heart ~

NASB Luke 24:46-47 “and He said to them, ‘Thus it is written, that the Christ would suffer and rise again from the dead the third day,
47 and that repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.” The word of God “… must be fulfilled.”
