“And they remembered His words…”

People say things and later, much later, you remember their words.  For they were important and had an impact on you.

Same thing happened in the days following the death of Jesus.  Actually, after His resurrection, some women were told by two angels what Jesus said a couple of years earlier.

NASB Luke 24:6-7 “‘He is not here, but He has risen.  Remember how He spoke to you while He was still in Galilee,
⁷ saying that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.’  (NASB Mark 9:30-32)

Luke 24:8 “And they remembered His words…”

Follower of Christ… we are following our risen Savior… we will see Him again, face to face, when we go to heaven.  Our loved ones who have gone into heaven, those who knew Him as their Savior, are seeing Him face to face this moment!  Hallelujah!

Remember that when you think of those who have died – they are in the presence of God their Savior,  And one day we get to join them.
