Jesus went through Jericho, and visited Zaccheus at his house.
The next verse says:
Luke 19:11 NASB “While they were listening to these things, Jesus went on to tell a parable, because He was near Jerusalem, and they supposed that the kingdom of God was going to appear immediately.” (underlining added)
Jericho is some distance from Jerusalem. Jesus had a destination in mind and He kept “moving on – – -. Did He stop teaching? No, He didn’t.
As we live our lives, time is moving on – – – . A pandemic, the like the world has not known, will be moving on – – – .
Are you in step with Jesus as time is moving on – – – ?
Are you listening to Him by reading the Holy Bible?
Are you believing what He is saying to you?
What Jesus said to one of His disciples, Thomas, He is also saying today to you and me.
NASB John 14:6 “… ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.”
