Jesus taught His disciples through parables many times.  He is also teaching you and me today, through parables.
“Listen” to the lesson in this paraphrased parable:

There was a judge, an unrighteous judge who did not fear God or respect people.  A widow came to him, time after time, not giving up.  What was she asking?  “Give me legal protection from my opponent!”  Luke 18:1-3

This judge knew he was unrighteous!  He didn’t fear God or respect others.  Yet, because of the persistence of the widow, he gave her the legal protection for which she asked.  Luke 18:4-6

Then the Lord Jesus compared the unrighteous judge with God and asked a question.
“Hear what the unrighteous judge said,
7 Now, will not God bring about justice for His elect who cry to Him day and night, and will He delay long over them?
8 ‘I tell you that He will bring justice for them quickly…’”  Luke 18:7-8 NASB

Pray… at all times to the living God.  He hears and answers your prayers.  And one of the conditions for answered prayer?  Faith!  Faith that He hears and answers your prayers.

Praying… at all times to the living God is to pray in faith.  That is why Jesus went on to say in Luke 18:8 NASB “… However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?”

Pray – with Faith in God!
