The lepers were physically healed by Jesus.  God chooses to heal us too…or not.  Most importantly, God’s goal is to heal us spiritually for eternity.

Luke 17:11-17                 Jesus Heals Ten Men with Leprosy

11 “Now on his way to Jerusalem, Jesus traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee. 12 As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy[b] met him. They stood at a distance 13 and called out in a loud voice, ‘Jesus, Master, have pity on us!’

14 When he saw them, he said, ‘Go, show yourselves to the priests.’ And as they went, they were cleansed.

15 One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. 16 He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan.

17 Jesus asked, ‘Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? 18 Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?’ 19 Then he said to him, ‘Rise and go; your faith has made you well.’”  (Bold added)

One of the ten lepers returned to thank Jesus for healing him.  The other nine were physically healed but missed out on the blessing of full healing this tenth leper, a Samaritan, received.

Jesus’ words, “your faith has made you well” were recorded several times in Scripture.  The woman who reached out to touch his cloak because she had been bleeding for 12 years, “Take heart, daughter,” he said, “your faith has healed you.” (Matthew 9:20-22).

In Luke 18, a blind beggar received his sight.  “42 Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has healed you.”

God always wants to heal us spiritually.  Whatever the answer is for our physical healing, His desire for us to live with Him for eternity is always in His will.  He sent His Son, Jesus, so that we may be fully healed.

Ephesians 2:8 (NIV) “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God”.

God may heal our bodies through the wisdom of doctors and medication.
But there is only One Who can save you for eternity…trust in Jesus…for He will save you.
