Elijah was a prophet, a righteous man whose prayers were heard by the living God.  When Elijah prayed for no rain, it didn’t rain for 3 ½ years.  Again, when Elijah prayed for rained, it was a downpour.  Elijah was praying God’s will both times.  James 5:17-18

When you pray, do you pray according to God’s will?  Or your own?

NASB James 5:16 “Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed.  The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.”

Praying for others is important and imperative!

Why do you want others to pray for you?

Isn’t it to have the Lord work in your life, to heal your physical body, to heal your emotional and mental wounds?  To grow closer to the Lord Jesus Christ?

Be an Elijah!
Are you a person who others come and ask you to pray for them?
Who do ask to pray for you?

~ Take it to heart ~

“The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.”
