Are you brokenhearted?
What wounds need to be healed in your life?

Psalm 147 begins with praise to the LORD
“Praise the LORD!
For it is good to sing praises to our God…”
NASB Psalm 147:1

In the next phrase of verse 1 it tells what happens to us when we praise our God.
NASB Psalm 147:1 “… For it is pleasant and praise is becoming.”

Isn’t that great?!  When we praise our God we become pleasant people, our attitudes and our faces are becoming!  We become attractive.

Have you noticed people with continuous scowls on their faces and hatred in their speech?  I wonder if they do not know the Lord God?

In verse 3, Psalm 147 gives a sound reason to praise our God.
NASB Psalm 147:3 “He heals the broken-hearted
And binds up their wounds.”

When you are broken-hearted, cry out to God, for He is faithful to heal!

~ Take it to heart ~
